Das war Nagaland / Looking back at Nagaland

Nun sind wir wieder hier in Shillong von wo aus wir vor 12 Tagen aufbrachen. Rückblickend hatten wir einen super Einsatz. Der Schwerpunkt lag auf Anbetung und Gebet.

Back to Shillong, our starting point 12 days ago, we are looking back at a fantastic outreach w/ an emphasis on worship and prayer.

Unsere Stationen waren Dimapur, Longleng und Kohima. In Dimapur und Kohima wird nächstes Jahr eine große Anbetungsnacht stattfinden. In Longleng soll es ein mehrtägiges Jugendevent geben. Es gibt in Nagaland so viele Jugendliche die offen und hungrig nach Gott, aber ohne Perspektive und Hoffnung für ihr Leben sind. In den Gemeinden finden sie auch nicht, was sie suchen, da diese sehr traditionell sind. Zudem sind die Nagas sehr musikalisch und lieben Musik. Mit den Anbetungsnächten und dem Jugendevent wird man die viele jungen Leute auf ihrer Ebene erreichen können, und wir beteten, dass sie bei diesen Veranstaltungen lebensverändernd Jesus erleben werden.

Es war auch toll an hoch gelegenen Plätzen Jesus über die Städte anzubeten oder anbetend durch die Stadt zu fahren, wie ihr in diesem Video sehen könnt...

Dimapur, Longleng and Kohima were our destinations. There will be a big worship night in Dimapur and Kohima next year. And in Longleng there will be a youth event for several days. There are so many young people in Nagaland who are open and hungry for God. but they have got neither perspective nor hope in their lives. Since the local churches are pretty traditional they can't find what they are looking for there either. The Nagas are very musical and love music too. Thus the upcoming worship nights and the youth event will be a great means to reach out to them. We are praying that these events will change their lives radically.
Another wonderful thing was to go to the high places and worship and exalt Jesus over the cities as well as going through the cities worshipping.

Am Montag geht es von hier aus weiter nach Imphal in Manipur zur ersten Frauenkonferenz. Wir sind gespannt was uns für den zweiten Teil des Einsatzes erwarten wird. Hoffentlich können wir uns dann aus Manipur wieder melden...
