Wir sind am Start ... vom 01.09. bis 17.10.2009 sind wir in den Nationen unterwegs: 30 Leute, die sich aufmachen, um die gute Nachricht von Jesus in Asien, Amerika und Lateinamerika zu verkündigen. Wow, wir sind gespannt, was Gott so alles mit uns vor hat.
We are ready ... from September 1 through October 17, 2009 we will be going to the nations: 30 students and staff on their way to proclaim the Good News of Jesus in Asia, the USA and Latin America. Wow, we are so excited and curious to find out what God wants to do in this period of time.

Die Spannung hat aber schon lange im Vorfeld gezündet. Alles in allem brauchten wir noch ca. € 18.000 für die Einsätze. Wer soll das bezahlen? Gemeinsam haben wir diese Summe geschultert und angefangen, dafür zu beten und auch zu fasten. Wenn Gott spricht, dann stellt er sich auch dazu! Und dann ging's los ...

Together we shouldered this amount and started to pray and fast. When God speaks that we shall go, he is faithful and will provide vor everything! And then it all started ...
Das Geld fing an zu fließen - hier ein 100ter im Postfach, da ein 50er im Briefumschlag, dort ein 20er unter der Zimmertür. Wir waren begeistert! Die Ansagen nach dem Mittagessen sorgten jedes Mal für Aufruhr und Begeisterung. Doch immer noch fehlten ca. € 15.000 ...
Während wir uns beim STREAM Camp nur wenig um unsere internationalen Einsätze kümmern konnten, da wir voll und ganz mit Einsätzen in Lüdenscheid beschäftigt waren, erfüllte sich Matthäus 6,33 vor unseren Augen: "Trachtet zuerst nach dem Reich Gottes und nach seiner Gerechtigkeit, so wird euch das alles zufallen." Es kamen größere Summen für Einzelne rein - teilweise von Freunden, die die Einsätze unterstützen möchten, aber auch von Leuten, die man gar nicht kennt! Die Gesamtsumme schmolz immer mehr zusammen. Beim Beten und Fasten hatten wir den Eindruck, zusammen schmeißen zu sollen, um den noch fehlenden Betrag zu decken. Wir handelten auf den Eindruck, doch blieb noch ein offener Rest von € 3.800.
The money started to come in - € 100 in the mail box, € 50 in an envelope, € 20 under the door. We were excited and when we shared about the incoming amounts after lunch, the excitement found no end. However, we still needed € 15,000 ....
While we were busy with the STREAM Camp and outreaches in Lüdenscheid and hardly found any time to think of our international outreaches, we saw Matthew 6:33 fullfilling itself in front of our eyes: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else will be given unto you!" Bigger sums for individuals started to come in - from friends, who wanted to support these outreaches, but also from people we hardly know or don't know at all! The overall sum melted together more and more. During our prayer and fasting times we had the impression to take up an offering among the students and staff in order to cover the missing amount. We did accordingly, however, there were still € 3,800 missing.
Und heute Morgen - einen Tag vor Abreise - dann der Knaller: Wir gingen zum Frühstück in den Speisesaal. Dort war sehr unscheinbar an die Wand gelehnt ein Umschlag mit einer Karte 'Durstig' ... und im Umschlag der ganze Rest. Keiner weiß, woher der Umschlag kommt - es ist alles bezahlt! Gott ist treu!
Well, this morning - a day prior to our departure - the big bang: We came for breakfast into the dining room. An envelope was leaning against the wall, almost invisible, with a card saying 'Thirsty' ... and the content was the missing amount of € 3,800! No one knows where this envelope comes from - everything is paid! God is so faithful!
